It is a really loose fit specially when falling a trailer you can hear the noise when driving.. it seems like it’s powder coated, but it’s not the ball is starting to rust out

It took me a while to decide which hitch to purchase. When I received this item I liked the style and weight....But there is a nice brace an clean weld on the hitch, which doesn't allow me to insert into the receiver all the way.Do I grind off bracket a 1/4 inch or return,?It took me a while to decide on this hitch.

I have a trailer hitch for my boat trailer, one for a utility trailer, and another for a box trailer. I never intended to have three hitches, but each was purchased with the trailers that of course were of three different heights.Pros:- Solid quality, joint points per to be cnc robot welded without any gaps or poor adhesion- Tongue fit is smooth and provides a solid fit. I was able to eliminate an aftermarket clamp that had been used with my other trailers to eliminate shimmy and noise.- Adjustable; versatility is a no brainer, I can adjust the height within minutes. No more pullling and wrenching on a new hitch for every trailer swap.Cons:- Causes a bit of noise from one of my trailer tongues; it could be the design of the tongue, the noise is more noticeable while turning despite being lubricated. Doesn’t appear to be a safety issue, just more of an annoyance, and again it only seems to affect one of my trailers.- The finish appears to be a spray finish, not a powder coat or heavy heat treated paint adhesion. It should be fine unless it gets banged around with heavy daily use and stored outside, if that’s the case you may want to occasional use touch up paint to prevent corrosion.Overall I recommend this unit as an affordable and versatile solution for properly sized applications. DISCLAIMER AND WARNING: This goes without saying, but just in case, ENSURE that the rating of this device will SAFELY SUPPORT YOUR trailer’s pull weight. Heavy duty adjustable hitch, only downside is u cant change the ball size but its pretty sturdy and i used the hook to pull my quad out the mud it was buried pretty good, if u dont need to change your ball size its def worth it
