This isn't something to go cheap on. It needs to withstand some weight while hopefully not damaging your paint work. The brackets were dinged in places. I can't imagine this won't rust up like crazy. It's such soft steel. They pointlessly don't allow you to re-use your attachment point covers on the roof. You have to leave them bare. That looks bad. There's pinch welds on display.I've seen other manufacturers offer two versions. One for roof racks, and one without. They could easily have this designed to fit under the cover.Gearshade seems to sell the one you see most people using. And the covers fit back in place.I'm going to try that one. This one is sold by a whole bunch of different people. A generic.

I put mounts on top of my roof rack. many people complained that it rubs against the hood edges. But I was able to spread too mounts wider and didn’t have this problem

The metal brackets that mount to the trail sights were already chipped and had bare metal exposed. And the bolts that came with the kit are about 4mm too long, so I had to get proper sized ones from the hardware store. The rest of the kit works fine, but is cheap feeling.

Best on Amazon for this use. "Almost" a complete kit. Sturdy and well built. If you want a more factory look you have to order a slightly longer stainless flathead Torx bolt for securing the front mounts. They do provide stainless bolts but it looks slightly better when the bolts match the factory look. But everything else is top quality. I would suggest getting a small amount of sheet silicone or silicone tubing to cut and place between the top mounts and the curve of the mount. This will prevent the mount from bending down and gouging paint and surface with pressure and vibration. You may ask why do this since this is used to prevent brush from hitting windshield and frame. I guess why not show a little prevention to prevent some damage when you can.

So, this is an unknown brand and I got the limb risers from them while waiting on my Rough Country order. The quality isn't awful, but go with a trusted brand and spend a little bit more money.
