Did not fit my sportster due to the welds being terrible. Would not sit flush where it is supposed to which did not like the bolt holes to line up. Did not work at all.

Was a straight forward installation, lowered my 2005 sportster. Was on my tip toes before, now almost flat footed. I feel WAY more comfortable at this height.

Brackets are not exact fit, its off by a bit. The weldings dont allow the brackets to sit properly atleast not on my bike. Had to force the screws in but made it work at the end. Might work on other sportys.

The product says 1 - 3 inches and we got 1 3/4 inch drop at the lowest hole. Also had to put in spacer for the top shock mount since it was rubbing against the chrome fender mount. You can see in the picture we dropped the front forks as well to help with lowering the bike. This is a 03 883. It was relatively easy to install but definitely would recommend a couple pair of hands and a bike jack to assist with the job. So if you need to just lower the bike very little this is a good option but if you need anything close to 3 inches I wouldn't suggest it. To give you a visual image I am 4'11'' and was still on my tip toes. All in all the product was clearly strong, nicely made but didn't due what it was supposed to do.

My brackets mounted perfectly fine without any grinding necessary or interfering welds as some have noted in these reviews. Would recommend these for a cheap quick alternative. Went the full 3 inches in mine. Obviously a rougher, stiffer ride but that doesn't bother me.

I've got the same product bought elsewhere but it had a problem - because of the welds, mounting hole would not align. One weld had to be grind out. Not a big deal, but I thought that perhaps this one is made by smarter people.Unfortunately not. Yes, they weld only on one side, but on the *wrong* one so it can't be grind because no weld would be left. It's sad to watch how a well engineered simple product is made unusable first by production then by sellers who don't understand and/or care what they sell.
