Came as described and is sturdy. My husband was able to assemble it by himself without any trouble at all, so it can easily be done with one person. Balance and weight distribution seem good so far. no complaints.

I've been lifting for a long time; I'm now in my 60's and started when I was a teenager. My goals have changed as I've gotten older and lifting is now more about function, retaining muscle and strength, more than anything else. I squat, deadlift, bench, row, you name it and I bought this to compliment a leverage gym I recently purchased. This is perfect for a home gym. Assembly was easy as the instructions were well-documented and it took about 45 minutes to assemble with a socket wrench. As other reviewers said, when assembling this (and other similar gym equipment) don't tighten all the bolts fully until everything is together to ensure that it sits straight and that the holes line up properly. I had no issues. This rack is great for people like me who like to challenge themselves, but don't lift "mega weights". In other words, I can easily see this rack holding 225 pounds but it's not made for serious powerlifters. After assembly, there is ZERO wobble with this rack and even while doing chin-ups, there was no sway or wobble. It's solid. It's just not meant for super heavy weight. If you squat up to 250-300 pounds this rack can handle it, I just wouldn't trust it with more due to the small footprint and smaller legs. I'm 6 feet tall and even though this rack is a few inches shorter than others, I can do chin-ups with no problem. No need to spend twice as much on a heavy duty rack for a home gym....this rack is fine.

The Good:This rack is definitely better built than my last one! I love the indented pull-up bar—it gives a little extra room so I don’t have to worry about smacking my nose (still perfecting my pull-up technique, though). The bar rack and safety catches come with rubber attachments, which should help protect the metal from any damage—nice touch!Assembly was pretty quick, too. It took me about 30 minutes, and that was only because two pieces were mislabeled, so I had to backtrack once I realized the mix-up.Another cool feature: it has storage spots for not just one, but two bars! Since I have a 6-foot and a 7-foot bar, it’s great to have a place to keep both safely stored away. The Bad:The rack is a bit unstable on its own. Once I added weight plates and bars to the storage areas, it became much more solid. But if you’re planning to use it just as a pull-up station without any weights, it tends to wobble and isn’t very safe. So, it really needs those weights to keep it steady.Overall:If you’re looking for a sturdy, well-designed rack with handy storage for multiple bars—and you don’t mind loading it up with some weight plates—this one’s a solid contender. Just don’t expect it to stand firm on its own during your pull-ups unless you’ve got some heavy friends hanging out on the sides! With a little extra ballast, it’s a great addition to any home gym.

I’m building a home gym and this is great quality. Pretty easy to assemble. The only downside is that there are no holes in the middle of the rack so you can’t place the bar in certain spots. So your set up for bench might be a little high or low depending on the height you need. Overall it’s great for our home gym!

Still put it together and it is mostly stable but I could not get the right handed elbow stabilizer to align with the sockets. Good product, good price, I can probably cut the hole a little larger to align with the stabilizer.

Perfect for a small little apartment. Does the job. Wouldn’t recommend heavy weights but basic barbell (45lb and additional 160 works fine)

Buy this if you’re not a body builder or on steroids. This will handle everything you need, those massive cages are usually for people who lift over 600 lbs.The red power cage will give you enough strength.Features:Pull up bar- Great for wide grip, medium grip, and close grips, it is designed with curves.Bar holder arms-Supports up to 600lbs(Red version)Safety arms- Can handle up to 800 lbs of weight dropped. You can adjust these so the physics are minimized at the bottom of your squat. They aren’t too long like normal gyms so you’ll have to squat closer to the inside of cage, usually facing inwards is best. I adjusted mine so you can hear the sound when you are parallel and touch the safety arms to confirm. Could be a little longer, but given the price you can definitely make it work.Bar holder-Can store your Olympic bar and acts as a nice clip holder too.Installation doesn’t take too long. Make sure to tighten the bolts and nuts firm when assembling but wait to FULLY tighten it once it’s all assembled. You’ll do that at the end as final check and tighten a little bit past hand tight. You want it to be firm but not strip the bolts. Includes tools to put it all together but it is easier if you get a ratchet. This will get it done for a VERY reasonable price. It’s a great system and very affordable. Don’t spend too much and get this, you don’t need that super fancy Bodybuilder rack. Those are like buying Ferraris. Those super high weights also come with massive dangers and increase injury chances. Really, you should be focusing on the movements and fully flexing throughout your workouts, not worried about weights and ego lifting. This is your go to!
