Was not at the exact size that I thought it would be. Does not work for what I want.

These do not lift after you have installed them - you can only adjust before - as the plates do not spin freely. I ended up using a car jack to lift the beams I needed, spun the plates (that are welded to the lead screw) until they were in the right height, then lowered the car jack.Do not trust these for long term stability in structures. These will not hold your home together while you work on things.HOWEVER I would trust these for tables, workbenches, shop machines. They should remarket them as shop legs. 60 bucks for 4 of them is a good price to hold up a table saw for sure.

I liked the ease of use, and the dependablity of the product. They are used to support a front deck.

not certain I would trust these things for anything over 300lbs or so. However they did work for the need I had for them.

Je les utilises pour soutenir un vieux bâtiment et je peux les ajuster de temps en temps… À part qu’ils sont plus délicats que prévus, ils font bien le travail.

We purchased these as they were visually similar to the style and size of the current rusted out rods supporting 4x6 beams spanning our home.**** After purchase we do not recommend the use of this item for any structural support at all****what we discovered from our purchase. The top plate of the purchased jack is welded to the screw and does not spin so can’t adjust after its secured to beam, which is needed for leveling laterA single jack weighs only 2 pounds a lot less than what was out old beamsThe strength of the threads is questionable. as the tube is tapered to make the threads not machined into a thicker tube. The lock nut acts only as a safety stop pushing on the thin wall of the support tube. The length is only adjustable before installation and only about 2.5 inches an still maintaining a proper inserted distance in the base pole after that the two items do not fit right and the top screw wiggles in the support pole.It is treated for corrosion, the coating is thin, but I would still put protective paint on it.We decided to go with another Jack to provide the support for our needs.

Well made sturdy, and easy to use. Had them in for 6 months and still impressed.
