Installation was quick and easy. Screw the pieces together, add the pads to the portion that goes against the wall and attach the adhesive portion to the bedframe (make sure to wipe the area of any dust to ensure good adhesion). Push your bed firmly against the wall and then adjust the spacers to secure the gap.Word of warning for those that may have hardwood floors and felt pads on your bed. Excessive movement may push the bed away from the wall where the pads may start to act as muffled battering rams and produce a quieter knocking noise (which kind defeats the purpose). Will probably look into getting rubber feet for the bed to reduce the risk of sliding and to help keep the pads firmly planted against the wall. Because of this it would probably work better with a bed on a carpeted floor.

These are good items, in concept, but the adhesive holding the spacers on the headboard lets loose after a few weeks. Not a good long-term solution.

I have 3 headboards on guest beds that are anchored to the bed frame only. It’s always bothered me how the tops of the headboards wobbled. These allow you to stabilize the headboards by installing them near the tops and pushing the bed frame toward the wall.

Easy to install works like a charm. Installed this on a 100 year old wooden headboard that rattles everuy time you roll over in bed. Now the headboard makes no noise at all. Stays secure against the wall without bumping. And for a small price. ❤️

We used these for our headboard against the wall. These were the leftover parts. I like that it comes with plenty of extras. The end of the bracket that mounts to the bed has adhesive and screw holes. So, depending on the application you can mount it to the back of the furniture with screws if needed. The end that touches the wall is a soft pad and won't scratch the wall. I highly recommend.
