I got this for my 86 year old mom. She is having a hard time getting around. This tray helps her out immensely.Unlike other trays, it slides underneath the chair to get as close as possible.Now, it is much easier for her to reach her food. And, it gives her much more confidence and control of her environment.

HA HA Yon varlets, I got the one that WASN'T broken on arrival lol.It's a fairly nice unit, a bit overpriced for what it is, $20-$25 would seem more appropriate to me. It is SUBSTANTIALLY adjustable, wasn't really expecting that, I had to lower it one notch just to use it with my couch and I'm a large lad. The cupholder is too wimpy to trust with anything other than an empty can. The main surface is quite large, enough for a big holiday meal with a large plate and one or two smaller ones and a beverage. If you leave out the floor cross-brace you can fold the whole thing up and slide it under or behind the furniture. Will try later with a meal that requires attention with a knife and fork to see if it holds up without a lot of shaking. So far, so good, would buy again at this point.

Easy to put together but tray does not sit level and it bends easily with mild pressure. You don't want to rest your arms on it while eating as it tends to bend toward you.

Upon putting the product together (which was easy), they were very cheap plastic and bent. I would never consider putting a tray of food or anything on them. DO NOT ORDER THESE. They were made cheaply and are crap.
