The adhesive backing is stronger than the plastic. I had this for 4 months before one side of the holder snapped off. At least it's a 3 pack so I was able to replace it with a spare. Do yourself a favor and only use small lids. The adhesive is very good though, it took me at least a few minutes to pry it off.

I bought these pot lid holders to stick on the inside of my cabinet door. 1 of the holds arrived damaged the other 2 worked great for about 1 month and then the self adhesive started the wear. I was using GreenPan glass lids, which are not overly heavy. I contacted the seller who replied back quickly but never followed up after 2 attempts. Now I’m back to square one.

I have a 10.75" stainless steel lid (Cuisinart) that has fallen twice since using this product. I'd recommend to the manufacture to use a stronger adhesive for the larger lids.
