Each extension threaded rod and coupling do not fit together. I believe this will work but I'll have to go to the hardware store to buy parts.I'll update you after I get it working.

The threading on the parts for this are not great - they feel like they have trouble fitting together, speaking to the poor quality control on this product. On the other hand, if you can get it to work, it does the job of stretching jeans for a more comfortable fit, so I can't ding it to hard. Overall, I'd give it a 2.5-3 stars for working, but with questionable quality and durability.
