Our sandpaper is 11 x 9 inches,the sponge sandpaper is 3.9 x 2.6 inches and the metal scraper is about 3.9 x 2.7 inches, the ptex rods measure approx.8.1 x 0.24 inches,which can prolong the life and increase the performance of your skis or snowboards.
Firstly,use the sandpaper to scuff damaged areas prior to Ptex application. Our Ptex rods can fix minor ski and snowboard base damage, sanding Sponge can be used for removed rust and polising steel edge. Scraper is used as a drip plate for Ptex and to gently plane excess Ptex from base.

I like the scraper, the PEX is horrible. It shrunk up deformed, and did not hold very well. Sorry but can’t recommend.

the p tex is almost spaghetti thin. the metal scraper I received is cut so poorly and jagged you will definitely ruin your base by leaving gouges. the sand paper and sponge things were good. I am going to return for sure.

The main component of this kit are the 5 black P-Tex candles for dripping into gouges on the base of your ski or snowboard.There are also 3 coarse sandpaper squares with sponge backing (180 grit) and one large P180 grit sheet for prep and cleanup.A small metal scraper is included.In addition to this, you may want some wax remover to get the wax and dirt out of narrow grooves (you can also scrape with the corner of a razor blade and wash with Dawn dish detergent) before you drip the P-Tex.The P-Tex is black so you can't see if you have any soot from the burn, so keep the flame low and the wax hot.The metal scraper works but it could be a bit wider so you can use the metal edges of the skis as a guiding rail, but it cuts the protruding P-Tex bumps down to the level base. A metal file can be used to keep the edge of the scraper sharp.These P-Tex candles burned very low while heating to the point where it sometimes was difficult to see the flame. It took a minute or two before it got hot enough to apply, but once it started, it stuck.For the same price, you can get 10 P-Tex candles without the sandpaper and scraper. If you already have these accessories, you might want to look into that option. These seem to be good quality.5 stars - An easy way to fix your own base.

Mostly got this for the extra black ptex, and the sticks are nice and thin which makes them easier to light on fire and control a narrow flow compared to my other thick sticks.It's nice this comes with an extra scraper and sand paper if you don't already have those. Unfortunately the scraper had square, razor sharp corners (like most ptex scrapers do, IME) which could easily scratch or gouge your base while scraping the excess ptex off. I rounded them real quick with my dremel, but I'm knocking off a star since users shouldn't have to modify products straight out of the package. I guess you could use the included sandpaper to try and sand the corners down a little too.As for the "sanding sponge" I honestly wouldn't use them to remove rust from my edges like the description states, as they are actual sandpaper which will remove material from your metal edges over time. I much prefer a gummy stone for removing edge rust, as it doesn't sand off any of the steel.

I decided to get this to fully repair the base of the ski. It’s just as easy as waxing the skis. My only advise is go easy on the Ptex, try and only melt what you need to save yourself time on the cleanup. These 5 sticks will last forever, or at least a really long time.Bonus is it comes with some sandpaper to help with the clean up.
