This is an amazing item and has been the greatest purchase since I started laying tile. If you use a dewalt 4 inch grinder you will need to drill out the screw holder for the metal guard spring after that it is perfect

It’s a good tool the only thing needs to make a straight with a 6 foot level before to secure sub caps, but he was pretty good. I like it.

There are some good things about this and some bad things. First, you have to remove the handles because the studs are too long and they catch on the suction cup clamps. The suction cup clamps don't lay flat so any exposed stud from the handles will catch. A big issue is out of the five angle grinders I have, only the Hitachi/Metabo would mount to it and not perfectly. There are two different ways to mount to it but Craftsman, Dewalt and two other older ones that I couldn't tell the brand of didn't fit it. Another issue is the suction cups only mount to gloss surfaces. Even when they hold, there is enough flexibility, that your grinder will lift under pressure causing variance in your line. You have to make multiple passes with very light pressure to get a decent line. I am considering mounting the track to a fixed table and although it will make it less mobile, it should make more consistent cuts. You do have to constantly check to make sure everything is tight and i recommended using threadlock. The water connections are a little odd... there are two but only one has a valve to control flow. Getting the right flow rate can be a little challenging. All in all, I would probably buy it again but more as a set of fairly well machined parts that can be modified to be useful.
