Cable seems to be of good quality, but beware of the actual breaking strength. I was using three of these cables along with multiple pulleys for a mechanical advantage to pull stumps with my tractor. By my calculations I was not where near the breaking strength when one of the three broke.

it is made from steel. the feel is great with no sharp edges. the loops are crimped very tight.
