I purchased this for My Grandson to do everyday leading up to Christmas Day and he loved it. Every morning at breakfast he’d open the date and he’d have fun putting whatever that days surprise was. The pieces seemed just like the real brand so there was not a difference in appearance and they were cute as can be. It would be Fun for any child that likes building adorable Christmas items. We put the built items up on a Christmas table for just these items. The penguin was my favorite.

We really enjoyed seeing what each little kit would be each morning and putting them together. By the end, we had a little Christmas Village on the mantle. Worth the money, had all the pieces, and everything went together as the instructions said. They include a few extra pieces as well and that's nice.

Each calendar day has a bag with lego- like pieces to put together. They are made to become part of a larger christmas scene. It's a cute idea, but some of the items are a bit difficult to assemble for the ages suggested it's appropriate for.

My 6yo son absolutely loves building with Legos. He loved having a small build to do each day leading up to Christmas!

The traditional chocolate calendar doesn't work in our house because we just end up with crabby kids who want all their chocolate. This was such a great alternative! The quality of the bricks was great for the cost, so it's an awesome value. The instructions were clear and my 8 year old was able to do all of them with no assistance. He's not a big LEGO kid typically, so he doesn't have a lot of practice following those kinds of instructions and he still had a great time with it!

I actually got these to use as an advent calendar or stocking stuffers, but we ended up not even really doing an advent calendar this year and pretty much dropped the ball on Christmas altogether. Luckily these were fun enough that we are starting to build them now in the middle of January And they’ve also been a lot of fun to just sneak in my kids lunchboxes for them to do at school another little fun way to show that mommy loves them and that I’m a cool mom. I also sneak them in my husband‘s lunchbox because he’s spoiled, but he doesn’t enjoy them which makes me happy. Overall, these would be awesome as an advent calendar and I will probably be looking for another one this coming Christmas.

Purchased for my 11 year old and he struggled with the instructions. He only opened about 5 days and then stopped. I couldnt follow the instructions either. We had to look at the photo and just guess at it.

This is a super cute advent calendar, but do not buy for a kid under the age of 7. Lots of pieces in each bag/day and very small directions to follow.
