This was a fun set to assemble because you get a new box to open and put together every day. The pictures aren’t really representative of what you get because it looks larger, but these pieces are super tiny. It takes some dexterity but for older kids it was really fun to build.

Sometimes had to open 2 holes in order to get out one baggie - and then sometimes there were 2 baggies in the one hole you opened. It was a mess. Each baggie did NOT come with instructions on how to put the bricks together, so it was just plain frustrating. My son actually ended up only opening about 10 holes before he just gave up and lost interest. The bricks are not name-brand quality, but they look like the work, ok. Would have been great to have the instructions.

I can't help it, I love an advent calendar! This one is unique because you get two different projects. The first is opening each days slot and completing the brick figure inside. The bricks for each day are enclosed in their own plastic bag with the individual instructions included. Hold on to the directions if you want to make the larger pieces later. Each of the figures are really cute and by the end you will have 24 different Christmas themed items. Once you have finished all of the smaller characters you have the option to take everything apart and create two larger pieces. I recommend separating the smaller figures that make up the two larger pieces so you're not having to deal with a huge amount of little bricks to sort through. The picture inside the lid of the box shows you which smaller figures are used to make up the larger figures.

So much fun leading up to Christmas and then on Christmas making the bigger designs. The kids and adults love it. Worth the money and wasn’t even expensive for a 25 day project and still messing with. Just bought different set for next year. The adult kids also loved it

This was a great way to spend time with our young kids this past Christmas. They enjoyed building it, but I think my husband and zi enjoyed it more hahahah!Quality materials, easy to follow instructions. The only thing I wish it came with was a tool to help pull them apart when you take the little figures and rebuild them into the larger ones.

This is a very cute Christmas advent calendar. The little sets within each day give the kiddos something to do every morning in anticipation of Christmas. Very fun and interactive. The only issue I had was some of the pieces didn't fit together snugly enough and then tended to fall off pretty easy. My son had to keep reassembling some of the pieces for several of the sets every day, as they just kept falling apart randomly. Definitely not Lego quality, but I knew that, so it wasn't a shock. This was very obviously a manufacturing defect, so it may not be the case with all sets.
