This advent calendar is laid out nicely in individual boxes making it very easy to organize and put together. This was a 1008 piece puzzle and had 24 total boxes. There was enough going on in the puzzle that it was fun and engaging and not hard to do. The picture of the puppies is light hearted and has a classic Christmas time nostalgic vibe. The pieces themselves fit well together with no issues. This makes a great early gift for those puzzle enthusiasts, or you can always put this back in the boxes and do it again next year!

The puzzle is a nice quality. The pieces fit together well - I hate puzzles with loosely fitting pieces and this is not that. The image is really cute. The boxes for each day are well-labeled and then most of the pieces in each box are stamped with that box number on the back, so you can put the puzzle away and pass it on as an Advent calendar to another friend. For some reason, some of the pieces at the border between sections have no stamp, so that complicates returning pieces to the boxes. Each box does a small portion of the puzzle, so you can enjoy a small challenge each day or put all the pieces in a pile and just do it like a normal puzzle (which might be the better option, if you can't remember which box the section border pieces go in). If the pieces were all numbered, I would definitely give this 5 out of 5 stars; as is I would give more than 4 stars but not quite to 5 if possible.

I was surprised at the quailty of this item. The overall box is very nice, the individual boxes inside are great, and the puzzle pieces are a good quality. Each piece is labled on the back with the corresponding day so you can take it apart and use it again. I can't wait to put this together with my son this Christmas!

This is a good puzzle; and I do a lot of puzzles. Each of the 24 boxes are easily opened so you don’t rip it and you can use it year after year. And it was challenging! I made my husband work on this puzzle before December (with protest) and it was enough of a challenge that my husband was excited to do that day’s puzzle cube. But it isn’t hard enough to make him frustrated and lose attention. The pieces lock together easily and gently. If you have to force it in, even a little, it is in the wrong place. The back of the pieces are clearly numbered making it easy to getting them back in the right boxes for next time.Remember though; unless you plan to do this puzzle all in 1 day, start this puzzle somewhere that you won’t need to move it. Since it is an advent calendar, it’s intended to be put together one box a day for 24 days! And $20 is a bit steep for this puzzle.

The puzzle comes packaged into boxes for days leading up to Christmas. I have done these with my family before for previous Christmas's. The print Quality is nice and the pieces are sturdy, so you can get a lot of use out of the puzzle. The pieces have the number of the day on the back of them which is great for re packaging for future use. Great way to spend quality time with family.

Great puzzle to keep or to give as a gift. The adorable picture of cats, dogs, and red truck are so sweet and classic. I love that it's both an advent calendar and puzzle combination, so you can just do a little at a time while you count down the days until Christmas. You can enjoy it year after year like any advent calendar since the puzzle pieces are numbered and can be returned to their individual boxes when done. While there may be a few pieces that didn't get stamped with the number day, each box completes a small section so it will still be easy to figure out which day it goes back in when packing it up for the next year. My only disappointment was the mailing label was attached to the cellophane of the puzzle. This took time to remove and left a sticky residue which is not good if gifting.

This is too cute. Our daughter is a dog lover, and she will love this calendar. You build the puzzle one day at a time for the December days of Christmas. As the days go by, you assemble more of the puzzle. The design is so cute! This is a neat idea that puzzle and dog lovers can dive into this holiday season.
