My mother bought this replacement burn pot for our pellet stove. We went with this because it is SUPPOSED to be stainless steel. A little science for you. Stainless steel is non magnetic and you need special equipment to weld it. It is also more durable than common steel. So with tha5 knowledge, this burn pot cracked and burnt out in the EXACT same places as the original it was supposed to replace. We can stick magnets to it. Finally, my father has welded repairs into it today. It was a loy of money to get less than a year out of it and for it to be common not stainless steel
