This worked out great for me! I have a micro bakery and needed a quality bag that’s large enough to fit an entire loaf of bread & still close. I’ve received several compliments on the appearance of the bag. Very versatile & perfect thickness.

These bags seem to be great. There is no chemical smell. They appear to be strong and able to hold a Boule or Batard bread, which is why I purchased these. I also purchased them because I learned that sourdough bread loves brown paper bags vs plastic. So, I've switched to these bags to present my breads to their prospective customers. The clear window gives the customer a nice view of the bread without having to touch or the customer breathing on it when looking at it. Yes, I am just a bit OCD when it comes to cleanliness and my customers. So, overall, I like, and recommend these bags.

These bags are great. They are roomy and close easily. They have worked great to freeze bread as well. I love the little window. The bags keep the bread very fresh and longer lasting.

Very cute for taking bread to others, fit a nice large sourdough loaf. It does see soften the crust though, so crusty bread won't stay that way over night.

I have been purchasing for months. This bag used to be my favorite made of a high quality brown craft paper that was uncoated. My most recent order was purchased 11/28/23 and I received a thin, flimsy wax coated bag. The coloring of the paper that the stickers are printed on is different on my most recent purchase and all feel lower quality. All 50 bags also came bent on the bottom which affects presentation. Very disappointing as these bags are $.42 a piece. The bag that I used to receive and love can be seen on the left and the new flimsy subpar bag on the right. If the quality is decreasing the price should as well!

I’ve ordered these bread bags and stickers 3 times so far. The first two batches were perfect, nice heavy paper bags and the stickers were all printed perfectly. This 3rd batch I ordered looks COMPLETELY different. The paper bag is thin and extremely wax-paper like, and I feel like my big heavy sourdough loaves would just tear right through them. They feel awful, and I’d be embarrassed to give my customers their homemade bread in these bags. The stickers were also not printed nicely, a lot of the ink on the hearts didn’t fill completely. I’ll be returning these, and I’m hoping my next order will be back to the old bags… if not I will not be reordering these again.

I have ordered both the plain paper and the bag with windows. The downsides: (1) The bags with windows are grease lined, meaning that storing your bread in this is like storing it in a plastic bag. This will make your crust soft, which you may not want if you are baking Tartine type bread. As a longtime bread baker, I generally store in plain paper for the first two days, and then transfer to a plastic bad, where it will stay soft longer. (2) As others have commented, the photos of these bags are NOT accurate. The bag does not have a flat bottom, as the pictures suggest it does — the bottom of the bag is just where the front and back sides meet. There is a gusset on the sides of the bags. (3) The stickers are weird. The ones I got say “Thank You” in the center, and then “Handmade With Love Especially For You” in the surrounding circle. Usually, I do not bake bread as a “thank you” to anyone, and I won’t be using these stickers. Would be better if they just said “Made with Love” or something. (4) The fully paper bag has all kinds of crazy slogans all over it — basically like a non-English speaker decided to put every single idiom about bread, baking, and food gifting on the same bag. I would actually to prefer to get a totally plain paper bag, but I haven’t been able to find one in this size. The upsides: (1) Both types of bags are pretty good quality paper (not super heavy, but the bag is not going to come unglued or be so flimsy that they bread tears it). (2) The bags with the window also have the tin ties for closing neatly, which is good. (3) Both bags are pretty large, and they will definitely hold a 10” boule.Overall, I give these bags 4 stars — they have some downsides, but they are the best ones in this size that I’ve been able to find.
