Wasn't expecting a big improvement, but after reading reviews, what I saw was about what you'd expect (haven't had my car that long so baseline was subjective), but slight improvement gas mileage (if you go by the cars onboard communications tool), and was again slightly smoother acceleration. I believe it was definitely worth it.
