Bought for my 07 4.0 ranger. Took about an hour to put on. Nothing too crazy. Already had a cold air intake so it didnt really do much. If you already have a cold air intake, dont bother. If you dont have a cold air intake, then this will be highly noticeable after putting on. I like the sound and am pretty satisfied knowing it was only a 100 bucks.

Shipping was quick. Paid a little extra to have it delivered quicker. Easy to install. Instructions were easy to understand. I also install a K&N cold air induction at the same time. Definatly a power gain after installing both upgrades. The problem is the spacer causes a very annoying whistle at low throttle. Almost to the point that the gain from the spacer is not worth the noise created from it. The combination of the cold air induction and the spacer does increase the fuel milage by 2mpg .

i am happy with my purchase of the TB spacer from AFE for my 4.0 ranger. install took maybe 15min, all the parts needed came with the spacer, no problems at all. no increase in mpg, but a noticeable increase in bottom end pick-up. it has a nice little hissing sound too, just to let you know its there. its not goin to throw you back in the seat, its an $80 bolt on part, but a slight gain in pick up, and a little sound is there. if youre lookin for something cheap and easy for your 4.0 ranger, i say go for it. i think youll be happy with this purchase.
