I have loved the cowbell since I first heard it in my uncle Hugh Masekela’s iconic song Grazing In The Grass.

As a new world Yoruba priest (Babalawo) and aspiring percussionist, this is a welcome addition to my array of authentic African percussion instruments. It definitely produces the sound I was looking to capture.Baba Adubiifa (Langston Thomas)
