First of all, this didn't come with the tray at the top of the bezel like other models do. The original is plastic welded in and so far I haven't been able to find an aftermarket tray that matches stock.Second, this double din opening didn't fit a standard double din radio. I had to cut and modify this bezel to fit the radio. For the price, I am not impressed.

looks nice I installed a sound stream touch screen dvd/cd double din player in a 06 Jeep Wrangler TJ everything matched up perfect harness was easy the wire code is on the package to the harness. When taking on this project it should be noted that there is a plastic plate between the A/C controls and stereo that will need to cut out of the way. You will need a small hack saw blade or a rotary tool with a cutting blade to remove the plastic plate to make room for the stereo to fully slide back. There’s YouTube videos you can watch on it. You will also need to reuse the original metal clips from the dash panel being replaced as well as any stereo mounting screws from the old stereo as well.

Fit the jeep as advertised. Was required to swap the coin tray, no big deal. Some trimming was required to fit the stereo i bought, also no big deal.

Nice dash kit. It fit my 2005 LJ perfectly. It arrived well protected without any scratches. Removing the tray from my old dash was a bit of a hassle as it had been really melted on by the factory. It works well with my Pioneer AVH-4201NEX. I was a little worried about that since that head unit has a removable face that has to tilt up and out a bit to remove. No worries as it fit great after a bit of fine-tuning.

This thing is amazing. I have a 2006 LJ. Yes the tray is not included. boo friggin hoo. If you are skilled enough to remove your original dash which is only 2 screws and 4 prongs then you should be able to melt/Dremel the tray off and epoxy/melt it to this unit. Mine came with all the right wiring harness and antenna cables so good job on correcting this as stated by another review that received the wrong harness. This feels like the same strength as the OEM one and is very solid. I was very hesitant on getting it due to the reviews but I am glad I got it.Update: Got it all installed and this thing is amazing. Just wanted to show you all looking at picking one up what it looks like.

If I could do 3.5 stars I would. Overall it's a good product but there are some things to keep in mind. As it's the only option on the market other than a DIY conversion of the stock dash panel it's not bad. As the other two have already mentioned this is not a plug and play install. With that mentioned here are my issues...1) As noted, it does not include a coin tray, not a huge issue just make reselling the stock dash cover harder. This also prevents as tight of a fitment at the top where the dash cover secures to the dash.2) The wiring Harness that was included was NOT the correct year harness. The one pictured in the product picture is the correct one however that is not the one that came with the kit. See attached photo of the 2pc. harness that came. This costed me about 30-45min of install time due to having to drive to the store and buy the correct harness. I am sorry for $150 and a product that's advertised for 2003-2006 models should come with the proper year harness.3) The plastic material that is used is not the same quality as the OEM one. You can feel that it does not have the same elastic properties as the OEM one and is more likely to break if you're not careful with it.4) The fitment against the dash switches and A/C controls is not a snug as the OEM one leaving small gaps... This is not easily noticeable but I know it's there. Fixed it by adding washers behind the mounting screws for the controls and switches.Other than that as I said, for this being the only option on the market it's not a bad product. I guess I just expect more when it costs $150.00 and their other replacement panels are a fraction of that price. For example, the panel for a 2010 Honda Civic is less than $30.00. Sure it's smaller but a $120.00 price difference smaller?Bottom line, if you want a 2-DIN stereo in your 1997-2006 (Yes it will work in a 1997-2002 with a little more work and finesse) Jeep Wrangler and don't want to modify the stock dash piece this is your best/only option. If you're good at DIY and don't mind experimenting on the stock piece I'd suggest going that route first personally.
