Up until now installing an Aftermarket Double Din Radio into a 2004-2008 Acura TSX meant having to take your ride to someone who can custom make a double din kit (these kits cost upwards of $349). However this installation kit allows you to simply modify your preexisting factory storage pockets to fit a Aftermarket Double Din Radio plus includes all the additional parts that are also required.

It fits well after you do a ton of cutting behind the dash. I used a thinner jvc deck and I still had to cut alot. Also I had to jump some wires behind the dash in order to get sound to work. It will work and do what it's supposed to, but prepare for a bit of work.

Doesn't fit quite right as you can see by the gaps . Bottom screw holes don't line up.

some guy was complaining cause the ac wire are integrated with the stereo wire,you dot have to sacrifice the whole plug and lose the ac, you just splice off the wire from the speaker and remote wire and any others the stereo uses and keep the plug intact so the Ac still works. His was 2004 it may only be a problem for 2004 he as saying

A/C controls are integrated with the radio controls. If you install this kit you lose your AC. Took this kit to the shop to get it installed that's when I found out. Won't work with 2004 Acura TSX.

I bought this product based on it being marketed as a flawless fit with easy installation. This product felt of high quality and fits in the factory location almost seamlessly. However, if you have never done an install requiring major work behind the dash to make the unit fit, this is not the product for you. I worked for hours in order to make the kit fit into place and had to trim away nearly a quarter inch of the plastic behind the factory pockets and also cut out the 2 lower brackets. After all of the work the product looked very nice, but if you do not want to do all of this work in the dash then I would not recommend this kit.
