When I received the book press all the large bolts and washers etc were extremely rusty. Also the actual press is not entirely flat and has a slight bow in the middle. All together quite disappointing. It looks like it may have been used before.

It's a cheap, ok press. I don't know if it was shipping or production, but mine arrived with quite a few dents, chipped wood and scrapes. Definitely not a completely flat, even press.
