The AHQiZFX Beginner Embroidery Starter Kit is very lovely. It includes all one needs to make the beautiful butterfly, except scissors to snip the thread ends. But most people have scissors, so I won't take a star away for that!The instructions on how to make stitches are easy to follow. What is lacking for the beginner to embroidery is in what direction you should choose to place your satin stitches. Some are easily seen in the pattern, while some (black) are not. One who has never done any embroidery before might find this a problem.The embroidery thread is soft and of good quality. There is more than enough to accommodate a beginner and their mistakes. The 3 needles that are included are easy to thread and should be enough in case you lose one.The pattern is printed on the fabric and will wash off when you are done with your project. This makes it far easier to begun than having to stencil or draw on your pattern.I keep off one star because the plastic hoop is not so easy to work with for a beginner. The fabric can slip around a bit if it is too loose, or make the fabric stretch if it is too tight. Please use care with your embroidery hoop.AT $6.99 US, this is a good price for what you get.

This is a nice embroidery kit. I do like butterfly motifs. I am glad that I have plenty of my own embroidery floss so that I can change some of the colors. To my mind there is too much black in it so I will lighten it up a bit. That is just my own preference. I do wish they had supplied at least a bamboo hoop as plastic ones let the fabric slip besides just being, well plastic which is not environmentally friendly.I appreciate the opportunity to try out this kit. Thank you.
