Wow! These headphones are so cool. Very easy to set up the app and nice looking. But the fun part is the translation. I tested it with French which I know pretty well. It doesn't always pick up all the words- it's that way with any voice driven software. You need to learn how to speak to it - slowly and clearly, without a lot of slang, and it will understand you and translate with pretty high accuracy. And there are multiple modes- like each person getting one earpiece so that you can have a conversation and understand the other person, or one mode has one person listening to the phone and the other listening to the headphones.I'm very impressed where the technology has taken us. So many languages offers travelers so many options.the build is really nice- they seem very well built and designed. A little big, perhaps, but there's a lot of computing power that had to be squeezed in there. And as far as sound quality- the spoken words are perfectly adequate. For music I like a deeper base and more dynamic range- but these are not buds- they sit on your ears, not in them, s they were nevere going to have the quality of high end earbuds- but they are definitely good enough! Enjoy them!

I grabbed these for an upcoming trip to Mexico because I wanted to do more than just order tacos and say “gracias” with a thumbs up. I’ve messed around with translation apps before, but they either butcher what I’m trying to say or make the other person look at me like I just insulted their grandmother. These? Way better. Setup was quick, and the translation accuracy is honestly impressive—as long as you speak clearly and don’t throw in a bunch of slang. I tried it with someone I knew who spoke spanish, I liked the feature where I could wear one ear bud and they could wear the other, and we were both happy with what we were hearing. They’re also super comfortable. Not your typical “shove them in your ear and hope for the best” kind of buds—these just kind of float near your ear, so I could easily wear them for hours without feeling like I was being punished. Sound quality is great for talking and podcasts, decent for music (though if you’re expecting deep bass and studio vibes, you’ll probably want something else). Bottom line: if you're headed to Mexico (or anywhere you don’t speak the language), these are worth every penny. You’ll feel like you’ve got a translator in your pocket—and you don’t even have to tip them.

These things are cool. I am going on a cruise this summer and want to be able to understand people in the different countries we are traveling to. I thought about using the translation app on my phone, but it doesn’t work as well as I would like it to. When you purchase the headphones, you also get access to the NebulaBuds app. There are a lot of different settings as well as an AI assistant that you have access to in the app. You can use your phone and the headphones to translate or give someone an earbud and it will translate between the two. You do need them connected to your phone for the translations to work. The coolest part is that the earbuds only translate when they recognize the other language, so if you are having a conversation with someone in your native language, the earphones are not translating that, but if someone comes up and speaks to you in the language you select, then it will automatically translate. The earbuds are not the “in ear” type, but hover just over your ear so that they are very comfortable for long periods of time. The speakers are perfect size for spoken words to be heard clearly. When the app is not on, you can use them as regular ear buds for talking on the phone or for listening to music. Overall, I feel like these are a great purchase and will update after my trip if I change my opinion. I had some coworkers that are bilingual help me test them, and they said that it was working spot on, so I think that they will do everything I need them to.
