The earbuds themselves pair easily and function as headphones/microphones. They're easy to attach to your ears since they just sort of grip over the edge of your ear, which is better for keeping them in place compared to sticking an earbud IN your ear, but is worse for audio quality since there is more space between the speaker and your eardrum. The charging case works fine, though it's quite bulky compared to, say, an Airpods charger case.In order to use these earbuds for a translation app, you have to pair them and then also have a phone app also paired to them.(Updated review): I had some difficulty getting the app to synchronize with the earbuds, which is needed to use the app without paying for a subscription. It refused to sync, but once I force quit the app on my iPhone and restarted it things seemed to work fine. If you use an iPhone and it's sticking on trying to identify the earbuds to register the app, try force quitting the Nebula Buds app and then restarting it.Using them works well enough (I tested it with english to japanese, the only languages I have any functional skill with) -- it's totally enough to get by if the two conversation participants are speaking clearly, so you can have a basic conversation without much trouble, but I wouldn't use it for international diplomacy or anything. I have only used it in the "each person has one earbud on" live translation setup, but it's got a number of other options like live translating video calls and translating recorded audio.The app that it works with also comes with a Deepseek interface, if that's of interest to you.

Ok, truthfully I got these being a little skeptical but figured I’d give it a try anyways. I got them in just a couple of days. They came with a charge and I couldn’t wait to try them sour and see if they really worked. I downloaded the app, which was super easy with the QR code they gave me. Connected the earbuds to the app and went to the local gas station where Indians work. They were willing to give it a try. They spoke their language and I spoke mine and it translated flawlessly. I was amazed and so were they. They also play music flawlessly. It's small but the battery lasts for hours (full day). It's also comfortable to wear for hours. This is a decent price guys, highly recommended!

These are really cool earbuds. I've never tried the ones that hook on the outside of your ears, but it's an interesting concept. If you don't like the earbuds that sit in your ears for whatever reason, these hook around the back of your ear and rest comfortably outside your ears. The sound is remarkably good, considering. The bass is a little tinny, but I mostly use them for audiobooks or podcasts that don't really need good bass. I did find that if I wore them for a while it felt like they were squeezing my ears a bit, but might need to get used to this style to overcome that.

It doesn't work as easily as the description leads you to believe. The translation is slow and it was only picking up parts of the conversation. I returned it
