Inside rails too close together to be used with standard wroom boards.

Looks fairly well made other than not cleaning the flux off the solder joints. The big issue and why it was returned is that the socket is too narrow for a 38 pin ESP32 board.

This 3-pack of ESP32 development boards from Aideepen has been a solid addition to my projects. The boards are well-built and reliable, with consistent performance across each one. They work seamlessly with the NodeMCU-32S, and the GPIO breakout design makes it so much easier to connect additional components, especially with the 1-into-2 setup that expands options without overcrowding. The 38-pin narrow version fits nicely into standard breadboards, so setting up and testing circuits is straightforward and keeps things neat. Programming them is a breeze; the boards are responsive and connect easily over USB without issues. I’ve been using them for a variety of tasks—basic IoT projects, sensors, and data logging—and they’ve handled it all without a hitch. If you’re working with ESP32 and need reliable, easy-to-use boards with good breakout options, this set is a great choice. It’s nice to have three in the pack, especially since you’ll probably keep thinking up new projects!

Be very sceptical about these boards. You will notice they talk at length about the number of pins and possible connections but the one key factor that makes all the difference is missing - the width between pins.I'm sure this is a deliberate action to make you think they will fit in hopes that you won't bother to return.Notice no images of board with ESP32 mounted?I have dozens of ESP32 x 39-pin standard boards currently being manufactured and the spacing between the rows of pins places them exactly in the middle of the 2 rows on this board, impossible to fit.Standard spacing is 0.96in between rows of pins (1in apart - 10x 0.1 spacing)This board is too wide and too narrow, couldn't be more wrong.

Works as expected. Bonus is there are two rows of pin holes. Not sure if this is for the ability to jumper in for testing or it is designed for two sizes of board. Regardles, handy to be able to put a quick jumper pin in to try out different ideas on bread board without clamping down the screw terminal.

First of all, unlike what another reviewer said, these are completely compatible with the HiLetgo 3pcs ESP8266 NodeMCU CP2102 ESP-12E. That happens to be what I'm using and they work fine. However, the mounting holes are super tiny. Even my M3 screws don't fit. I can't drill them out because they are too close to the edge. There's plenty of room for bigger, more useful holes! It would get 5 stars if the holes weren't so tiny.

you can put one side in, or the other.. but not both.. hope you only need to use 1/2 the features of the esp32.. because this won't allow both sides. EDIT! it works with my Other ESP32's, Check pin count. 18 pins per side (wifi ESP-WROOM-32 ) your good. mine are 15pins per side. not good

Boards are easy to use. They fit the ESP32 properly. Only the pin next to the 5 volts input is miss labeled it should be CMD not GND. I attached my 5 volts supply. ESP32 did not power up tried another GND pin and it worked.

These development boards are very convenient for connecting the ESP8266 pins to different devices. They have both push-in and screw-in terminals for each pin, which makes it easy to switch between different wiring configurations. I have used them to create some custom outdoor decorations with the ESP8266, and they saved me a lot of time and hassle. These are great for anyone who wants to experiment with the 12E boards and try out different ideas.

This is a really great semi-permanent option for small projects. I used to use breadboards, but they don't work great and also cannot handle much current. This with the screw terminals makes it really easy to connect wires and can't handle more current.
