I haven't tried to use this on any second story windows yet-but I have a huge 12' wide picture window in my living room that looks into my backyard. I used this on that window last week, and it made the job so much quicker and easier than my normal method of standing on a step stool using paper towels. The window came out much cleaner too. The scrubby pad is great. The rubber squeegee works well-I did have to go over some spots several times, but I think that was just because I am not used to using this. The rubber squeegee molded more to the shape that I needed as I was using it too. All in all it's a great product.

I ordered this product with specific uses in mind - vehicle windows and the glass surfaces on my storm doors and patio slider. The sponge/scrubber side of the head was important in my decision because prior experiences with devices that were simply squeegees required more scrubbing by hand to remove/loosen the dirt and grime. Of less importance was the multiple extension pieces for the handle. I could comfortably reach my target areas with the primary connector and just the base piece of the handle.The minimal assembly that was required was very simple and straightforward and the assembled device felt very solid and comfortable to hold. Reach, as planned, was adequate for my needs. I did use a commercial spray on each of the surfaces prior to applying the sponge/scrubber and it definitely appeared to do it's job. My only issue developed with the use of the squeegee side of the head. While it could be a problem with the cleaning solution that I used, which I doubt because it's a well known brand that has been on the market for many years, I was left with residual steaking that I had to remove with a cloth. The squeegee did clear the cleaning solution/grime from the surfaces. However, there definitely was minimal streaking, which, as mentioned, a little polishing with a cloth cleared up.Although I did not make use of the extensions in the pole, which I did not need for my planned use, I felt this product met my needs and would recommend it. The additional use of a cloth to remove some streaking was pretty minimal and, while a one star deduction might seem extreme, I felt it needed to be mentioned. Generally speaking, it did get the job done.

About once a year I pressure wash the house and clean the outside windows but it becomes a bit of a chore, especially the second floor where some of the windows are hard to reach. I can get a ladder there, but the roof slopes down away from the house, making the windows on the second floor extremely hard to reach without getting onto the rood itself, and even then they're hard to reach. With the long reaching squeegee, I was able to take a bucket, use the foam end to clean, and the squeegee side to clean, and it made the job super simple.The pole and the head are well made, the rubber squeegee feels good, unlike some flimsily ones I've held before. The pole extension is pieced together, based on how long of a reach you need, and even in the larger setting it feel good, no bending or wobbly from the squeegee part. I even used it to clean my truck windshield in between car washers. This is something I never did, or never thought of, mainly because it's hard to reach without a step stool. I would reply on the wipers for a quick cleaning but that leaves the outer edges of the glass spotted and dirty. Now, I can spray a bit of cleaner to the foam end, wipe the windshield and squeegee it away and it's perfectly clean, much better than just using the wiper blades, in my opinion. I used it with a short handle as well, cleaning the glass on the front and back orders and it makes light work of it, so I'll be cleaning the windows and glass doors more often now.
