A couple of years ago I replaced an old CFL outdoor yard light with an LED light similar to this one and have never looked back as it uses way less energy, I don't have to pop for a replacement CFL bulb every 12-14 months, and it has a much lower, cleaner profile. We're in the process of building an addition to our house that will block light from that LED light in a small portion of our back yard so this AIKVSXER Dusk to Dawn LED light was a perfect choice. It's slightly smaller than the other LED light but that works perfectly for our application. It hasn't been installed yet but I did a test hookup at night and it did a great job lighting up the dark area of our yard. The adjustable arm is a bonus as it will allow us to adjust the angle of the light fixture during final installation so it doesn't cast too much light over the fence between our house and my neighbor's house.

This is a well made light, but the output is closer to 100 watts than 160. The lens does distribute the light well over a fairly large area. Installation is very easy if you are replacing an existing fixture as this is a “hard wire” setup, not plug and play. It’s very simple if you’re comfortable with working in an electrical box . The heat distribution is questionable, my IR gun and a meat thermometer both said 185 degrees which is definitely hot enough to burn skin, and is hotter than others I’ve tested.

This is a decent light, but the claim of 160 watts and 24,000 lumens is pure fiction. I measured it drawing 0.98 amps at 120 volts, so that is about 118 watts. I compared it to another LED floodlight that costs exactly the same on Amazon. That light draws 0.78 amps (about 94 watts) and claims only 13,000 lumens light output. The 13,000 lumen-claim light is significantly brighter than this "24,000" lumen-claim light.So it uses more watts and produces less light, and they are lying about both the watts and it's light output. There are better choices on Amazon. However do NOT buy any light based on the claimed lumen output. Read the reviews first.Still it's not a bad light if you need a dusk to dawn light. This feature can be defeated by covering the photocell on top with black electrical tape. If you do that, the light will turn on immediately, then go off for a few seconds, then come back on for good. The housing and the stalk are aluminum rather than plastic, so that is good.
