The Ridgid R8657B 7-1/4" circular saw doesn't come with a rip guide or a knob, and both parts referenced in the manual for the saw have been discontinued. This rip guide fits the saw perfectly. The knob, however, is too big for the threads on the saw. In my case, I'd already acquired the correct knob (search for Ridgid/Ryobi Replacement Part 512777001 guide tightening knob"), so I didn't care if the job that comes with this rip fence fit. Since it didn't, I just tossed it.
