I have installed this distributor in a 1973 VW 1600 duel port. It preformed ok for about 9 months. It increasingly became harder to keep points adjusted. In my experience this is not good. I would use extreme caution before purchasing

No issue with it so far. It timed very well and is a big improvement from the older one I had. Fit my 73 beetle. I do think I should have gotten new wires.
