Last about 3 start ups, went to start it up one day and it now stumbles under load and at idling, pops and a strong gas odor out the exhaust. Expected better I guess...

OEM sensors are almost impossible to find and aftermarket sensors do not have a good reputation. I was nervous because AIP had quality problems when they introduced this several years ago. So before putting it on my car I checked it on an Oscilloscope. The OEM sensor didn't have a low resolution signal anymore but this checked out great. I also put a MSD vented cap on so I hope this is my last optispark repair.

Fixed my intermittent loss of the high resolution signal.i'll probably buy a spare.FYI i bought 3 msd pro billet distributors and they were all DOA just get this and rebuild your old unit.
