Works well definitely cuts down on the noise and I like that it’s shaped around the handle to take the cover off

We chose this grille/intake relocation kit because of the grille shape and design. It is one of the few that adds the lower part of the grille that reaches down to the side of the "handle" (used to remove the air box cover.) In theory, it allows more air flow into that box, although the bottom of the cover is not sealed either. After installing this kit, I cut Outwears mesh to fit the grille shape and used brush-on gorilla glue(had to return to Amazon as the glue was 2 years old, buy local!) to create a pre-filter design. We plan to add some weather stripping to the bottom of the air intake/box/cover to seal it up a bit better to achieve the modification as best as I can. The template provided with this kit, as well as many others, is a good way to get the cut out close, but can be so flimsy that it almost makes it more trouble to use. Overall, I'm happy with my install.

Buy one that goes on the outside only. This one is recessed and rubs on the coolant tank!

I helped install another brand on my friends Can-Am so I had an idea of the installation time and difficulty. I elected to buy this brand because they are all plastic, with a few fasteners and some foam - so whats the difference? Well, it was half the cost of the more expensive name brand and every bit as durable but with this brand providing a bit more air flow. The installtion is exactly the same for all the brands out there. The only difficut part is drilling the qty 4, 5/16 holes for the cover and expanding fastners which will be the same no matter what brand you buy. It was supposed to come with a template but it didn't...but quite honsetly it was just as easy to scibe the grill shape onto the cover and then offset it 1/2". Very happy, good buy for what it is. Save 50% and but this one vs the name brand competitor. Good luck!
