Steps:


1. After selecting the correct support plate for mounting the pipe or fitting, tighten the fixing screw until the cone contacts the end of the pipe or fitting of the A/C assembly.


2. Hold the clamp screw by hand and turn the compression nut 1/8 to 1/4 turn.


3. To remove the clamp assembly, grab the clamp screw and remove it from the force nut to release the sealing cone without damaging the end of the cone.


4. If the pipe or fitting adapter is too small to the sealing cone, replace the cone seal with a female seal.


5. To replace the sealing cone, hold the pressure nut and remove it from the set screw until the taper is pulled out from the end of the set screw. Insert the required sealing cone into the end of the clamping screw and tighten the screw until it is inserted into the bottom of the cone, using a support plate that does not have a slot for the end of the cone.
