I purchased this to “glaze” my projects with sculpy clay to give it a more finished look. It produces pretty high gloss and I like that I don’t need anything else but just a brush to use to brush on the varnish and I really like the shiny, resin like look to my projects.I have also used this on projects done with model magic and it worked great!I have never used anything like this before so I don’t know what the drying time is supposed to be like but I find that if i brush it on in the morning before work or at night before bed, it’s perfectly dry by the next time I get to it.For a newby who is experimenting, this is perfect!

Pros-Great for smaller projects-Beautiful shine-Pricing is comparable to other brands-gives a professional finish to productsCons-if you make bigger clay projects these may not be the best choice as they are smaller bottles. But a little goes a long way.

This is a great varnish. It goes on easy and has a high gloss finish. It’s medium thickness, not watery or too thick, and it’s easy to clean up with a wet rag right away. My air dry clay piece looks great, like fired clay pieces. I think it’s a high quality varnish and well worth the cost.

This is a good coating for items that can lay flat. It is a bit on the thin side so it would require multiple thin coats to vertical surfaces

This air dry clay varnish is a total win! I used it on a few handmade clay trinkets, and the results were beautiful. It dries clear, gives a nice satin finish, and really brings out the colors underneath. Super easy to apply with a brush—no streaks or tackiness once dry. It also didn’t have a super strong smell, which I appreciated. A little goes a long way, so the 200ml bottle will last a while. If you’re into crafting or clay art, this is a solid addition to your kit. Definitely grabbing another bottle when I run out!
