The item was a perfect fit for my range hood. It was tough to install but not the fault of the product but of the placement of the range hood which does not allow for the front spring loaded side to come out very much.

My decades old Thermador fan over my stove was falling apart with tiny metals pieces falling into the food! Finding this wonderful replacement has been a life and money saver! I was so easy to fit. Just be careful to measure your old fan and make sure the photo matches the shape and dimensions of yours.

The oil deposits on my inductive glass from the range hood filter made cleaning the surface difficult. There was always a residue. I tried taking the filter off and cleaning it myself. I did this several times. What a mess and it was not effective. For me, the price is well worth the convenience. Depending upon how much I cook, the grease spots do come. But now - I replace the hood filter. So easy to do. Definitely worth the money. So glad it's available.

This is better than the original design--less likely to fall apart after cleaning.
