I purchased this air intake hose in October 2022, after a lot of hand wringing, sleepless nights, reading reviews, calling salvage yards, and praying. I have a 2004 Nissan LE Platinum Edition that I'm starting to have problems finding parts for due to its age. But thank God that I've been the type of woman that have always taken care of my automobiles which has allowed my Pathfinder to still be operable. The original air intake hose that was on my Pathfinder was nearing its days and there weren't a one to be found near me. Since I basically have an antique now the Nissan dealerships no longer sell them for that year nor does any of the salvage yards have any that is worth buying. So I scoped out one of my favorite shopping sites for a possible answer and located one. After finding this air intake hose on Amazon's website and reading the reviews (pos and neg) I knew that I had found what I needed. I read a review posted by a man who had the same exact Pathfinder (year and trim) that I have. He'd written that he purchased this due to needing to replace his air intake hose and couldn't find a replacement because of the year and the only difference between the one on his Pathfinder and this one was that this air intake hose has an extra port that he plugged up with a screw because he didn't need to use it for any purpose. I purchased it and he was correct. It was the same except for that extra port. I took it to my mechanic who put it on in ten minutes and plugged up that extra port with a screw and me and my baby (Jack is my Pathfinder's name) was good to go. I thank God for giving me common sense and the knowledge to critical think about some of my problems to find solutions to them. And I also thank Well for continuing to manufacture automobile parts for those of us who antique vehicles are not yet on their last leg.
