Air bags were exactly as ordered and fit my truck perfectly and easy to install. The package was quite damaged and thankfully the parts inside were all accounted for and no damage to the parts inside.

This product was amazing, installed in about an hour. Make sure you purchase the “T” connection that comes with air kit Air Lift 21838 Union Tee.This will allow one port to evenly lift both sides. Also means only drilling one shredder valve in your bumper

Air Lift LoadLifter 5000 Ultimate Rear Air Bags installed without any issues on my 2008 Silverado 1500. I have Rough Country 5" lift kit that has 3" blocks in the rear. Installed air bags with 2" spacer. Air Lift only has 2" and 4" steel spacers so it was a toss up on which one to install. Ride height at minimum pressure of 5 psi is 1/4" higher and ride is basically the same as without them, which is a good thing. It seems like adding 20-25 psi for 1,000 lbs of load is about right. 25-30 psi for 1,000 lbs, 35-40 psi for 1,500 and 45-50 psi for 2,000 lbs. I never load more than 2,000 lbs so not to overload axle. Air bags restore level and stability with heavy loads. Drives and rides better with heavy loads and no more blinding other drivers at night with a heavy load.

Great set of bags, getting the one with the internal bumper is worth the extra money, trust me! I've already had my air line come apart (Totally my fault for not paying attention during installation). This is my third truck with air bags, only way to go if you've never had them. This is my first set of AitLift bags, I've always had Firestone RideRite before. Honestly there is no real difference between the products. The no drill mounting and location are identical, the quality of the bags are equal. To me it comes down to which ones you can get for cheaper at the moment you are ordering them. Now if you're not sure if you should install single or dual path then do both. If you are buying a compressor rig for dual path for twice the money because you might need it once in awhile DON'T, get the single path and think about it! The beauty of air lines is that you can actually do both for a back up. Go to a napa truck center, or any tractor trailer parts store (Or order on here) and get a 1/4" air line valve and put it in between. However from their plumb the rest of the system as single path (so if that confused you, plumb dual path from the back of the truck to the bags. Plumb single path from the compressor to the bags. then install a shut off crossover line between the back lines) This will let you run the system single path (crossover line open) on a normal day for everyday ride, or single point hauling such as a bumper pull trailer. However if you have a random side heavy load, air it up until the heavy side is riding where you need it then close the crossover valve and bleed the lite side down until it's riding rite (or you can inflate each side thru the Schrader valves if you have access to an air fill station at that time)I actually put mine together with a 12v ball valve on my crossover line so I now have a switch inside the cab for single/dual path. I also installed a push button bleed valve for each side so I don't have to bleed off the Schrader valves. Final hint, air line and fittings are way cheaper at a napa truck center or a tractor trailer parts store. You can also find the other things I've been talking about. Good luck.

No issues, great price and they work well. Truck rides a bit more harsh now when unloaded, but playing with the minimum pressures might help, maybe even running them at 0 psi since they have internal joince bumpers. Overall they work very well for preventing sag and taking a load.

This is my second set of airlifts. last set was the 5000. By far the best money I've spent for towing, leveling the truck out takes care of sway issues and handling issues when pulling at the upper end of your rating. The ultimate seems to require less air than the 5k, maybe because its a different truck but 15psi in the 5k on an '05 silverado 1500 was a comfortable empty ride with almost no lift (45psi 900lb tongue, 7000 trailer), on '16 sierra 1500 15psi lifts the rear better than 2" empty and ride is stiffer, I suspect the inner buffer that allows you to run them at 0psi has something to do with it. customer service is awesome with airlift, on both sets I was missing or had incorrect components (2 left upper mounts, missing bolts), called airlift and they just ask for your address and the send the right parts out, got them in 2 days. install is pretty basic if you've ever turned a wrench. I did use a different air line because the airlift stuff wouldn't stop leaking but still give the product 5 stars for how it works and the ease of install.

Work well and like the added capacity and ride height improvement. Connected both side together in one air circuit. This way the pressure is the same for both sides, while towing the trailer. I find that keeping 4 to 5 Psi in system works well. When weight is added, the pressure rises up to the needed system loaded pressure (approx 24 to 27 psi) to keep the truck level. The unloaded ride is a bit rougher, but not bad (hence 4 star rating)... One could reduce the pressure to 1 psi if needed (Yes, you can run zero psi if wanted... I prefer some air in system). If you are going to connect both sides together you will need the Air Lift Union Tee 21838. Mounted my Air Fill in the rear bumper under the spare tire lock, there is a plastic filler panel there and is easy to drill a hole. Be sure that it is low enough not to interfere with the spare tire lock in a 2015-2017 Silverado. Also ran lines through the frame using existing frame holes from the axle back to bumper. Very clean install.I have AirLift Air Bags in the rear springs on another vehicle... They are about 15 years old... They work...

Ok guys, I installed this kit on a 2015 GMC Sierra 1/2 ton. The kit was delivered on time, well packaged and wasn't missing any parts. I'm an average mechanic with average tools and the total install only took about 3hrs. The install was done from the sides with the tires removed, the only time I went under the truck was to install the air lines and the bracket that bolts to the differential. I removed the fender liner on the drivers side to install the U-bolt because there are some fluid line that run on top of the frame that you don't want to pinch and I couldn't see them with the liner in. The install was a snap, everything fit perfectly, the instructions were complete and easy to follow. I also ordered the "T" fitting so I would only have one fill fitting which I installed on the drivers side by not reinstalling one of the torx screws that held the fender liner on and using that hole, that way I didn't have to drill a single hole to complete the job. So, it was easy to do and the system works great.
