I got these gloves to wear while using my mandolin, and I think they'll work nicely. I'm not about to really test their cut resistance, but I did run my thumb along a knife while wearing them and it worked. They are very tight fitting and I'd recommend ordering a size up. My hand width measurement is less than 3.5", but the mediums are still tight. That being said, after wearing them awhile I'm getting used to it and appreciate the added dexterity compared to thicker gloves. Also, the touch screen compatibility is flawless. This entire review was written while wearing them. The gloves are breathable, you can see the stitching is loose enough to see through a little.

I ordered these gloves for my wife, she does a lot of woodwork and was in desperate need of something to protect her hands. I ordered a medium as that was the only size left, she is normally a small. These arrived in its own bag. Along with the gloves there was an information leaflet in the shape of a hand included in the package (see pictures). My wife tried these on expecting these gloves to be too big. These are quite a nice comfortable fit for her although the fingers are a little too long. She does feel that a small would fit better but she is comfortable wearing this size. The fabric feels clean and not itchy with a really good stretch in the material. These gloves are machine washable and she feels these gloves will last a long while. She loves how the seams are not bulky around the end of the fingers and she found that she could operate her phone with ease. My wife is surprised at how free her hands feel when she touches anything with these gloves on. At $14.99 at the time of ordering I did feel this was a good price but right now these are $9.99 so you cannot go wrong with these.
