This filter claims to have 6 inches inner diameter.It does not. It's too small to fit on the FRPP CAI that comes with the FRPP TVS for the '07 - '09 GT500I was told by the seller to "lubricate" the filter when I put it on.Strangely the original filter needs no such lubrication. I'm gonna go out on a limb here and say that's because it... fits?The seller sent some measurements of the filter showing it was 6 inches. It looked like they fit the measuring stick inside the filter to measure it... somehow assuring me that it would have fit.I'm guessing they had to "negotiate" that measuring stick in there to get their measurement.You can see my measurements in the above images. Even the FRPP filter isn't exactly 6 inches so it's "smaller" than 6 inches and fits with ease... no...ahem... lubrication required... .sigh.Either way it doesn't make a whole lot of sense that I would send back a filter that fit would it?The only reason I bought it was it's a "dry" filter and I wanted to replace the "oiled" filter that comes with the FRPP kit.I had to pay to return ship this because it's a third-party seller. They also charged me a restocking fee.Thankfully Amazon intervened. At this point I wouldn't buy a filter that DID fit from them.Don't buy it for your '07 - '09 it won't fit.

I searched and searched for this and this saved me over $500 from buying a new kit. the delivery was jiffy fast too. so, in about a year or so, when this one gets dirty.......... i'm getting another from these guys. highly recommend
