I liked the tool since it was everything I wanted, good color, composite and allegedly from a quality company for a good price. Unfortunately this is my second major issue with this product. My first one came in with damage to the air inlet, requiring me to wait for a replacement. The second one worked for about 3-4 months when it suddenly stopped working and kept blowing air instead of hammering. I tried to fix it, to no avail, causing me to have lost time at my job. The air hammer isn't even as strong as my old beat up Ingersol Rand hammer that I regret replacing with this junk. The chisels that came with it also were of subpar quality, which would have been fine if the hammer itself actually still worked. It seems the only thing that has done it's job well is the case itself, which is ridiculous. I think, in theory, this tool is a great tool but it seems you accept significant risk of possible failure when you do buy it, which for the money, I'm better off buying Ingersol Rand again it seems. Shame.

Aircat tools are great, and this is no exception. I wish that for the money it provided a little extra power, but it has still been enough help that I would rather have it than not while working on my F250 Super Duty suspension.It doesn't have the oomph that a bigger air hammer would to handle ball joints solo, but I was able to tighten up the ball joint press and then give the area some whacks with this tool to motivate the ball joints to start moving.

I purchased this put air tool oil in it before using and did not work out the box after adding a ton of air oil and 30 trigger pulls it finally cycled and functioned heavy hitter but only works every 6-7th trigger pull every other time it bypasses air

This hammer is one chipping machine! We use them for chipping concrete out of our concrete trucks and this has lasted 8 filthy drums. Ordering another one now to have on hand!

I work on heavy equipment. This is a good air hammer. Don't waste your money on cheap tools just go ahead and get this one.

Working on semi trailers this makes fast work of rivets 1/4 and smaller. Both cutting them off and smashing them. It’ll work on 5/16 hard rivets but takes a few extra hits compared to a long stroke. Won’t cut 3/8 hucks off bottom rails tho.

Skookum choocher! If you get that reference - nuff said. if you don't get that reference, then - its one heck of a tool. Works as expected, just like the rest of the Aricat tool line, this will not let you down. Hold on tight as this can get away from you real quick. The only problem is finding bits that can hold up to the force/power this guy can put out!
