It's time to modernize your toolkit. Chiseling hammers feature variable percussion modes and use chisels or pointed accessories that have an SDS or spline shank. They are commonly used for chipping and removing concrete, ceramic, stone, and other materials.
AirCat 5300-B-T features a 0.498-inch shank opening and a 2-11/16-inch piston stroke. The heavy-duty quick change chisel retainer prevents dropping chisels by-passing conventional spring retainers. The patented AirCat design grip has been ergonomically designed to provide unmatched comfort for the user. This power tool was designed for ultra heavy duty work, including driving out shackle pins and king pins and cutting large bolts, nuts, and fasteners.

The AirCat line represents the most significant advances in the performance of pneumatic power tools in nearly 30 years. Founded in 1998, our air tool line has a substantially reduced level of noise while retaining more power and torque. AirCat also incorporates a patented ergonomically engineered handle design to relieve stress and fatigue on the operator’s hands, wrists, and arms. AirCat includes the patented tuned exhaust muffler technology in most tools, which allows discharged air to pass without developing back pressure, thus retaining more power, while significantly reducing noise.

This hammer broke a Mayhew chisel. It hits hard and isn't as loud as other hammers I've used. The rubber boot on the handle has stretched out and doesn't stay put, other than that it's been a great hammer.

I use this for hydraulic cylinder disassembly when rust sets in. Hits very hard unscrewing head glands, I would use thick gloves bc of the vibration. Great buy.

Was sceptacle as I work on city salt trucks in the rust belt. It hammered the kingpin out! I couldn't believe it. And it does it quietly! I still had to heat up one, out of the two king pins but the days of swinging a sledge are gone for sure! Definitely way more kick then your typical tool truck air hammer. Has a nice grip and great trigger control. I use it for auto work where a little more gentle of an approach is needed. Goes great with a shake and break! I call it the minny Mike Tyson. The bits hold up well too. Wear your safety glasses. It will destroy what's in its way!

Hits pretty good, but not the beast I expected. I am a huge Aircat user. I have several thousands of dollars in their impacts. This is my first hammer and it didn't dazzle me.I recommend not buying this online. I would try this one out in person before buying. The reviews are also not commensurate with my experience, so I might have a bad example.

Air hammer stopped working today after trying to drive an impact torx bit out of its socket with a taper punch. Probably only my third time using it since i bough it in Feb. As I found it was to strong to drive rivets into trailer skin sheet so I decided to only use it for heavy duty things... this should have been an easy task for the air hammer, at the end I had to borrow my coworker CP to finish driving out the bit. Disappointed with this tool. Reached out to the seller and haven’t heard from them.
