Did NOT work on my Delta flight. Luckily I was able to get an extender from the flight attendant, who informed me it is in fact illegal to use any other extender besides the ones they provide. It's been over 30 days since my purchase so I probably do not qualify for a refund. Disappointing.

As a big guy too embarrassed to ask for an extender, I was thankful the last time I flew that I didn't have to ask. I fit in the seats with no problem and can slide between the armrests but I need a slight extension usually around my waist. I am too embarrassed that I have flown sometimes with the belt tucked under my gut and unbuckled. IF THIS IS YOU STOP WORRYING. This time I put it in my carry-on and as soon as I sat I brought my earphones, iPad, and seatbelt with me. The belt is stored in a small drawstring bag that lets me carry it on board without everyone I walked past to my seat seeing I need extra seatbelt length. I quietly sat down, it was incredibly easy to connect the buckle to the existing belt. I was able to secure myself in the seatbelt for the first time in almost a year and got very emotional. No one had to know, I was not breaking any rules, and I did not have to endure the shame of announcing to those around me when I asked a flight attendant for any extenders.I never fly Southwest but if I did I would get the extenders that have their variety of buckles included.

I ordered this seatbelt extender because the last flight I took, the seatbelt was not long enough to close. It would reach the clamping point, but I just could not get it to buckle. I did not know that I could have asked for a seatbelt extender, but I feel that would have been embarrassing anyway and I probably would not have asked even knowing. So, I have another trip coming and just planning ahead thought of ordering a seatbelt extender. This airplane seatbelt extender seems to be of good quality. It come with a small discreet bag and hopefully it will work perfect on my upcoming trip. We'll see how it works out.

I ordered this seat belt extender ahead of a long trip. I did not "need" it after all but used it anyway to see how easy it is to use. The belt is quite nice and adds up to 30 or so inches to the seat belt found on the plane. It is easy to attach the extender to the belt installed in the plane and similar to other straps, there is a loop that allows the user to adjust the length of the extender. The buckle closes firmly and is just as easy to open when needed as the belts used in the plane. It is a nice touch that there is a small label on the extender that one can write name / phone number / email address on to easily identify the owner of the belt extender. I also like the small draw string pouch that can be used to transport or store the extender in when not in use.
