I replaced this because the original on my 1998 Toyota 2.4l 2wd Tacoma that had 100k miles on it. Easy to do even though I am not a mechanic.

Fits a 1996 Toyota Tacoma 3RZ-FE, 2.7L, 4wd with no issues. It is a little thicker than the stock clutch fan.

this said it fit my 97 Toyota Tacoma 4 cyl 2.4L. the base fit to the spindle, however, the original fan clutch connected to the fan with bolts. this new Aisin one i ordered, has the threaded bolt built into it. i had to go to ace hardware and get nuts to secure the fan. also, my original fan did not sit flush on this fan clutch. i had to use an angle grinder to grind down some plastic on my fan in order for it to fit correctly. wasn't a major inconvenience, but definitely had to improvise. this is still a great product and i got it to fit and it works amazing.

Perfect fit, keeps my 2.7 4runner running cool in traffic. I confirmed that they have the same pattern as the 3.4 clutch, but don't mix the two! The 2.7 struggles to carry our trucks as it is. The heavier duty 3.4 clutch will make your truck really sluggish
