My 2 large-breeds loved this rope toy. They immediately went for it when I got it out of the bag and fought over it for a good 15 minutes (which is a lot in dog time). It's nice and durable and my dog's really liked the textured pieces. After playing, my Catahoula sat down to start gnawing. He's an obsessive chewer and I have no doubts he'd dismantle it if I let him. Within minutes he had chunks of the bone-shaped plastic off. So be warned, you'll want to monitor any hard chewers, but overall my dog's play really well with this and I would get it again!

This tug toy is a hit with our dog! It’s tough, durable, and great for a good game of tug-of-war. The 100% cotton rope also helps with teeth cleaning, which is a nice bonus. Perfect for keeping pups entertained and active—highly recommend for dogs who love to play!

My dog will play with anything, but for some reason this isn't her jam. She doesn't like the plasticy feel of it and it would be more useful if it were scented, I think. It is quite durable and seems to be an okay value plastic, but it's just not entertaining enough for my little chew monster.

As you can see in the picture, my dogs were excited to play with the new toy. Colorful, textured, definitely good fun. Why three stars? It lasted for one day. Sure it wasn't expensive, but for one day? You can find these exact toys at dollar tree. So even with how cheap it is, I still think this might be a little over priced. Would I recommend this? If you have a small dog that doesn't chew, maybe. But personally I've found better toys on Amazon.

I have a 7 month old GSD and a 1.5 year old medium-large mutt that LOVE roughhousing and playing. They always want what the other has, regardless of what "it" is. Frequently, they'll play tug with bits of fabric from the carcasses of plush toys that were either torn in previous games of tug or were chewed off. Basically, if it's longer than maybe an inch and a half, they'll try to tug it. Rope toys, plastic toys, toilet paper rolls they get their paws on, you name it.They do not like this toy, nor do I. The red plastic bits are really uncomfortable to hold in my hand, and I can't imagine they feel better in a dog's mouth. They're pretty firm material that leads to the spikes of the ball or the nubs on the bone pushing into you. Those bits serve more as pseudo-knots that make it easier for dogs (or people) to hold on during tug. With larger dogs, there isn't a whole lot of room to bite the rope, and as they tug, the sharp red bits are gonna get pulled into either my hand or their snouts. It's unpleasant.The toy itself seems overall nice. I like the bright colors, too, especially with someone visually impaired living here. These colors are much easier to spot than the toys the dogs prefer. I can't really speak on how durable the toy is since they are so disinterested. If I took away every other toy than this one, they'd still find a non-toy to play with before touching it. Even if I pick it up and get one dog interested in playing with me (so the other one will get curious and take over my side to fight for it), they immediately lose interest once I stop.Just not for us.

My dog was SO excited to play with this toy. It’s great for tug, but would not leave a heavy-chewer dog (like mine) alone with this for long. Within 5 min the red bone part was mostly chewed off, and the center rope was starting to fray. In short, dog loves it, but we’ll only use it when actively playing tug to avoid it breaking down further.

Having 2 young Labradors I am always trying to find toys that will be fun and that will last. My puppies love to play tug-of-war with each other, and we have gone through a lot of toys. This dog rope is fantastic. It is VERY well made, is very interactive and has withstood being chewed and pulled around. The colors are exactly as pictured. The rope is very high quality and despite being chewed and pulled does not show any signs of fraying or breaking. Whilst having fun both puppies are having their teeth cleaned with the spikey ball. It is defiantly bite resistant. This is the first tug-of-war toy that is actually going to last! Highly recommend. Worth the money.

My Australian shepherd LOVES this rope tug. From the second I pulled it out of its packaging, she was SO excited to play with it! I love that this tug is a good size for joint play (not that she ever lets me win 🙄) and I like that there are two different kinds of chews on each end of the rope. This toy kept my girl occupied for a bit (a win in my book) and I think it’s a great buy for anyone with a furry friend
