Nice looking set. Quality seems very good. Far nicer than bamboo. Very smooth and liquid repellant finish resists staining and is safe to use with red sauces. Holding up to handwashing well so far after using about 20 times. Wish the small ladle and was larger. Probably ladle holds about 1/3 cup which is inefficient for serving souos and stews. Large serving spoon is too shallow and probably holds about 1 tablespoon of liquid. Neither small ladle or large serving spoon are effective for serving stew due to size or depth. I purchased linseed oil to wipe and keep the wood in good condition and condition pieces after about every fifth use. Spatula is a functional medium size and has sharp enough edge for flipping fried eggs in a nonstick pan. Good value for money. You would definitely want to supplement this set with a large and or medium metal ladle. I am trying not to use nylon cooking utensils due to possibility of toxicity.

Items arrived as scheduled. After washing the utensils with soapy warm water and letting them air dry, they appeared dull. I applied food grade beeswax and the shine was amazing. S very satisfied with my purchase.

I grew up in a household that used wooden utensils- I've used these and they are easy to clean, even after scraping food from how pans/pots. I don't put them in the dishwasher, though, I know people who do. Maybe that's why my wooden utensils last longer than theirs! For the price and amount you get, it's a good price.
