I typically wear an 8w shoe... Ordered size 8 and it was a bit small and too narrow to be comfortable for a dive. Just returned and ordered size 9 hoping for a bit wider boot.

Great boots with draining. Sadly the smooth round shape on the back heel causes my fin straps to slowly drop and not hold. One of my fins came off during ascending a 60 ft dive. I love th these bots but will stip using them and will purchase boots with a heel tab or bump to help straps from sliding off.

walked and swam on Lake Superior shoreline. Just the right thickness of sole so you can feel what you are doing but it doesn't hurt to walk on rocks. I've never had any other boot, but I can picture that without the holes to release the water, a person would be fussy about the water in them. They were only slippery on rocks with slimy moss, which is to be expected. Very comfortable.

Fit is accurate. Will be testing drain capability soon, but is clearly well-made for the price.
