This item was not an Aladdin skimmer basket. It was a copy made in China that had a little handle the user was to attach. The plastic was lighter and more brittle than an Aladdin.

Received a cheap, dark blue basket, with no handle. Not as described or shown on listing. Do not purchase this, it doesn't fit into place right and is loose.

Not as advertised. Did not come with the weight and handle, just a blue basket. A bit larger in diameter, so does not fit well in a skimmer. Works OK, but not as expected.

This was a replacement for the OEM basket. It fit perfectly. The only complaint is that the handle just runs flat across the basket diameter. It should be about 5-6 inches longer.

Great Product for a Great Price. These skimmer baskets are much better than the Pentair baskets that I paid about $15 for. The nicely reinforced rim and vertical ribs make the basket very sturdy. I expect these baskets to last much longer than the Pentair baskets which in a relatively short period of time cracked. I did receive the handles for the basket with my order (not shown on the picture). The baskets are about 8-1/2" in diameter so make sure that you measure your skimmer before buying. Also the color is White and not gray as the picture indicates (if anyone really cares).

Like another reviewer, I needed a replacement skimmer basket for my pool built around 1990. This was an exact match and perfect fit. I'm glad they gave measurements.I gave 3 stars (It's OK) because there was no basket handle as the item picture implies. That was one reason I wanted to replace the old one. I made one out of some wire so I wouldn't have to reach that far down, but still annoying.It is still a quality basket that will last decades if properly cleaned.

Our pool is 20 years old and it was difficult to find the appropriate skimmer basket online. I appreciated the top and side view images with dimensions. The basket fits and will work well, however it is not weighted. We solved the problem by placing a stone in the bottom.
