We have an unusually sized mahjong table that most of the other mahjong mats do not seem to fit - just a little too small. This one is the perfect size for our table. Unfortunately the mat comes folded so currently still has creases in it. Hopefully as we play on it, it will flatten out. it also comes with a bag to roll up the mat for storage. Only problem with that is the mat now has creases and the edges roll up depending on how we roll it. Now I'm trying to roll it the opposite way to see if it flattens out better.The mat is fairly thick and will definitely help with reducing the sound of the mahjong tiles. The bottom of the mat has a rubbery texture to help keep it in place while the top is a more slippery surface to allow cards and tiles to slide better. Overall pretty happy with the mat.

This review is for the ALANGDUO Mahjong Mat with Black Carrying Bag, Anti Slip and Noise Reduction Table Cover for Mahjong, Poker, Card Games, Dominoes, Board Games, Slip Resistant Mat (BIUE).Upon receiving this mat, I was instantly disappointed to see that it comes folded and not rolled. You can see from my photos that there are some pretty heavy creases in the mat. It will likely take a considerable amount of work to get this mat into a useable condition.As for quality, this mat appears to be constructed well. It’s a decent thickness and size, and it does a good job of sound dampening. There is a moderately grippy texture on the bottom to help keep the mat in place.The carrying bag that comes with this mat is cheap. It’s super thin and does not appear to be very durable.This mat is Made in China, and it does not come with a care tag.Overall, I like the look and coloring of this ALANGDUO mat. I hate that it comes folded and not ready to use. Once I get the creases out, I expect it to be quite serviceable and a nice addition to our game area.

This is a nice looking Mahjong mat. It is a heavy felt type fabric that I like better than the old "carpet" styles. It rolled up easily and has a carry bag with handle. The colors and design are bright and bold. I like my neoprene mat, but this is a close second.

This is a nice quality mat. It comes with a bag to carry it. The mat makes playing the game more comfortable and less noisy. I can recommend it.

I recently got my first mahjong set, and it included everything except for a playing mat. The main reason I wanted the mat was to protect my tables more than for noise dampening, but it works well for both reasons. As another reviewer mentioned, it does have some creases from being folded, but you can get them out. I gently clamped mine to the outside of my shower curtain for a couple of days, and the steam from the showers got the folds out. I rolled it up, and it's been fine since. Makes you wonder why this isn't rolled up in its storage bag to begin with and shipped that way. Either way, it looks nice, does what it's designed to do, at a decent price.
