Yes they are sturdy but the color faded before the first summer was over. I bought 4. Sorry I did.

Appear well made. Fabric and stitching look good. Unfortunately, While "designed to fit classic non-folding wrought iron butterfly chairs", these are intended for smaller after market chairs. These will not fit early/original versions of the chair... not even close. I had to return.

We have a growing collection of one-piece butterfly chairs and these fit perfectly. The fit won't be the exact same, as the one-piece wrought iron frames do vary, but these are large enough to fit the vintage/retro chairs.

Just got this so cannot review durability or fading, but love the yellow! Cheerful and playful, every time I look at it! Comfortable too.
